Greetings to all,

'For everything you do, do it once and do it good!'
TKGS Annual Camp is 2 days away. We believe that every single one of you must be working hard on your camp preparation, be it your campfire performance item or your standardisations. It would be of no surprise if some you(especially the sec3s) will be stressed out. 'What could not kill you will only make you stronger.' Henceforth, we hope that you would all perservere and never let the fire in your eyes fade away.

Be positive!:)

'TKGRCY! Diamonds in the Rough'
Millions of years ago pockets of carbon dioxide existed deep beneath the Earth's crust. Extreme heat and pressure caused the carbon atoms to crystallize forming diamonds. Pressure built up causing volcanic eruptions that brought the diamonds up to the surface.
The word 'diamond' comes from a Greek word, "adamus", which means invincible. It is also the hardest mineral on mother Earth:)

TKGRCY are indeed diamonds in the rough. Obstacles and challenges awaits you. We hope that all of you will face these challenges with a determined mind and heart, as only then, will you truly SHINE.

Yours truly,
Sec4s

Foot Drill Competition
East District First Runners-up!

Congratulations to all cadets for making TKGS proud. Though we are dissappointed for not clinching the championship, i trust that every single one of us has put in our best effort and has fought against all odds (e.g. parent's disapproval, study commitments and illnesses). For this, we, your seniors, are REALLY proud of you.

Please do not view this as a draw-back, but our stepping stone, to gear yourself towards next year's competition. Let's LEARN from others' win. For example, RGS jerky arm swing, AMK swift and sharp turns, Cedar's coordination etc.

Come on! Let's cheer up, hold our head up high and be PROUD of ourselves. SMILE ALWAYS(:

FDC 2008!

MIRACLE BELIEVERS, PURE WINNERS!

Lots of love,

Sec4s
